Every year, there's always
a rough & tough crew prepared
to take to the field with
lots to prove to the doubters:
three months & a day
of practice, practice, practice
might seem like forever
to some but this is how
life is when you're into the game
as much as these ladies are.
What classiness they display
in spades goes out the window
once they step out onto the field,
ready to take on the world
& all those haters who didn't
give them the time of day,
yass, even the chance to win it all.

Anyways, they're out on the field,
having the time of their lives,
fun & good times for sure.
You'd love to see them emerge
outright winners, undisputed champs?
Well then, get on out
& show your support if there's
nothing doing on your schedule.
You'll not only have an awesome time
cheering your favorite ladies on -
you're also giving to a good cause
if you stop to think about why
you came all the way over here;
now that's a win-win situation
you shouldn't refuse, period.

Of course, the greatest supporter
to ever win the hearts of an entire chapter
will also be there, showing his pride,
cheering like nobody else around;
gotta love duders like this man,
someone who doesn't mask
his enthusiasm one iota & always finds
the time to display his true colors,
never keeping them hidden or in check.
He's supporting his ladies
with all his heart, donating
to a good cause...Could life
get any better than this?

On Saturday morning,
life is indeed going to be good
once all these women take to
the field & play their hearts out
for a good cause.
